Commercial Media Project
Artist Statement: This project was in the form of an interview with my dad who was born in the early 70s. I asked my dad questions relating to advertisements and asked his opinion on advertising. In this interview I was able to see how advertising was when he was a child and compare his response to my childhood experience with advertisements. This was a way for me to see how the advertising market developed over the years from quality of commercials to what was being promoted.

Artist Statement: In THIS PROJECT I will show you the tools of persuasion and underlying messages in THis target commercial. These tools help us understand how the media persuades us into buying their products, this will show how the media reinforces or disrupts cultural norms.
